MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Saturday that 39 more police officers contracted the coronavirus disease, bringing the total number of cases to 6,675.
In a Facebook post, PNP said that a total of 679 active COVID-19 cases were documented.
Meanwhile, 26 more officers recovered from the ailment, bringing the total number of survivors to 5,976.
The death toll from COVID-19 in the PNP reached 20 and no new deaths were reported this Saturday.
