MANILA, Philippines – TNT guard RR Pogoy has been added to the day-to-day list after he sprained his ankle in the Tropang Giga game against San Miguel at the PBA Philippine Cup on Friday at the University Foundation of Angeles.

Pogoy hurt his ankle twice in the game against the Beermen, first landing on Gelo Alolino’s foot and then hurting himself on a defensive play early in the fourth quarter.

Despite Pogoy’s departure, the Tropang Giga still gave the Beermen an advantage by coming out with a dominant 107-88 victory.

“He’s still under observation, so far his condition is day to day,” TNT team manager Gabby Cui said, according to the official PBA website.

TNT head coach Bong Ravena provided a more optimistic outlook for his guard.

“So far everything is going well, we hope that no match is lost,” Ravena said.

Pogoy exited the game with 15 points and four rebounds, but began his bubble campaign with a career-high 45 points in TNT’s 100-95 win over Alaska.

Tropang Giga is at the top of the standings with a 3-0 card.
