The 1GD-FTV (2.8-liter diesel) engine powers the new Fortuner LTD and Q variants, producing a maximum power of 201 hp (204 Ps) and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. The V and G variants have the 2GD-FTV (2.4-liter diesel) engine that produces a maximum power of 147 hp (150Ps) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. The 2GD engine has also been improved for the New Fortuner V and G variants with a 5% improvement in fuel efficiency compared to the previous generation Fortuner.

This power delivery can be further tuned to your driving style with the Eco and Sport driving modes for the LTD and Q variants, and Eco and Power for the V and G variants.

Innovative security

With safety as Toyota’s top priority, the New Fortuner is the latest vehicle to earn Toyota Safety Sense (TSS). TSS is a safety suite that includes intelligent safety systems such as Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control now available for Fortuner LTD and Q.

All variants come with SRS airbags (seven for LTD variants), ELR three-point seat belts, anti-lock braking system with brake assist and electronic brake force distribution, vehicle stability control with cruise control. traction and hill start assist control.
