MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine National Police (PNP) number of COVID-19 cases reached 6,636 on Friday after announcing 50 additional coronavirus infections.
The PNP said that as of 6 p.m. Friday, 666 staff members are active with COVID-19 cases or those still receiving treatment for the infectious respiratory disease.
Meanwhile, 50 more PNP employees were recovered, bringing their total recovery to 5,950.
No new deaths were recorded. The death toll of the PNP from coronavirus remains at 20.

To date, a total of 351,750 have been infected, of which 294,865 have recovered and 6,531 have died.
