Conor McGregor’s rematch with Dustin Poirier is not yet official, but “The Notorious” is already in full marketing mode.

Having released a poster for a proposed charity fight with Poirier, McGregor’s team is back with another poster promoting an official fight between the two UFC stars now that both the men and UFC president Dana White appear to be in the same page.

Talks about a second match erupted in September when McGregor suggested that he and Poirier have an exhibition match outside of the UFC’s jurisdiction with the proceeds going to charities. Shortly after, White told the media that a UFC-sanctioned rematch between the two was in the works and after some resistance from McGregor (initially demanding that the fight take place before the end of the year), it appears that the first two – The division champion has agreed on a date for January 23 to fight Poirier again.

McGregor has stated that he wants the fight to take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

In the first meeting between the two fighters at UFC 178 in September 2014, McGregor defeated Poirier by TKO in the first round in a featherweight contest. Since then, McGregor has won titles in the lightweight and featherweight divisions and Poirier became interim lightweight champion last year.
