MANILA, Philippines – Jayson Castro had great success when TNT beat Alaska, 100-95, to open the restart of the PBA Philippine Cup at the Angeles University Foundation on Sunday in Pampanga.
RR Pogoy went nuclear in the first game of the PBA bubble, scoring a career-high 45 points on 10 of 17 shots from deep.
Castro, meanwhile, picked it up late, converting into a drive to give Tropang Giga a 98-95 mattress with 27.5 seconds.
The Aces blew a 17-point early lead and made two crucial errors down the stretch.
