Jan-Krzysztof Duda of Poland beat Magnus Carlsen in Round 5 of Norway Chess, becoming the first player to defeat the World Chess Champion in a classic game since Shakhriyar Mamedyarov surprised Magnus in Biel 2 years, 2 months ago and 10 days.
