Fans Complain About Overwatch Grand Finale Streaming Crashes

Overwatch had promised their fans that they could earn rewards by watching the final. League tokens or drops are rewards that viewers receive for tuning in to the live stream of most events. Overwatch fans have a chance to receive an exclusive spray called Tracer Mosaic if they watch an hour from the finale.

Plus, watching the broadcast for two hours could earn them Tracer skins at home and away.

Therefore, many viewers tuned in today to watch the final, many hoping to receive the reward.

However, things are not going well with live streaming at the moment. Fans are furious as many of them don’t seem to have received anything after hours of watching the event. This has sparked protests within the live chat.

While this seems like a glitch, the injustice chat spam doesn’t seem to be relentless at all. The audience peaked at 90 thousand people at one time. It’s clear that a good number of viewers have tuned in to receive the reward primarily.

The score is currently 4-2 in favor of the San Francisco team. Click here to watch the live stream if you are a fan of the game or want to see the fiasco.
