MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Health (DOH) reported 2,249 patients most affected by the coronavirus disease on Saturday, bringing the national count to 336,926.
In its 4 p.m. case bulletin, the health department said 54,594 total active cases were also documented.
However, 87 more patients infected with COVID-19 died, bringing the death toll in the country to 6,238.
A total of 842 individuals also survived the respiratory disease, increasing the sum total of recoveries to 276,094.
