MANILA— An Indonesian woman suspected of being suicidal was arrested along with two other women in Jolo, Sulu, early Saturday morning, the military said.
The Western Mindanao Armed Forces Command said the Sulu Joint Task Force and other local and national law enforcement agencies arrested the terror suspect at Barangay San Raymundo in Jolo.
The suspect was detained along with two others: the wife of Abu Sayyaf’s deputy leader, Ben Tatoo, and the wife of ASG member Jahid Jam. ABS-CBN News does not name those arrested because the military previously said they were minors.
They were arrested when the operatives were serving a search warrant issued by the Regional Court of First Instance in Jolo inside a house believed to be owned by Tatoo in Barangay San Raymundo.
Among the items seized from the suspects was a vest fitted with tube bombs and other improvised explosive device (IED) components.

At least 15 died and dozens more were injured in the blasts.
The alleged suicide bomber was “the first on our list since we have received intelligence reports that she will carry out a suicide bombing after the death of her husband, Andi Baso, an Indonesian foreign terrorist who was reportedly neutralized during a meeting on August 29, 2020 “. with two Scout Ranger Battalions under the 1102nd Brigade in Patikul, Sulu, ”Gonzales said.
She is believed to be the daughter of the Indonesian couple behind the twin suicide bombing at Jolo Cathedral on January 27, 2019, where at least 20 people were killed.
The three suspects are now being held at the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Sulu Provincial Police Office.
