Calvin Abueva works out in a Kobe jersey

On the morning of Game 2 of the Lakers-Heat Finals, Calvin Abueva wore a T-shirt with Kobe Bryant graphics for a workout in his hotel room.

“Go ahead Lakers,” he said in the caption of his Instagram post.

He also tagged Medalla Sports Clothing. The Quezon City-based clothing store had recently produced an Abueva “Comeback Is Real” t-shirt.

Despite the tight spaces in the hotel room, Phoenix was able to make it all work as the players began their morning session. Abueva filmed a video of himself doing easy work on the air bike, while next to him, Justin Chua hopped onto the mat with the kettlebell.

From Abueva’s post, you can also see a foam roller, a pair of dumbbells, and what looks like a barbell.
