MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Foreign Affairs recorded four new COVID-19-related deaths among Filipinos living abroad, the agency said Saturday.
The new deaths came from the Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East regions, bringing the total death toll to 790.
There were also three new confirmed cases and nine new recoveries.
As of its last count, the DFA recorded 10,433 confirmed cases with 2,989 of those in hospital care or under treatment.
A total of 6,654 people have recovered from COVID-19 or were discharged from their respective hospitals.
There are 78 countries in which Filipinos abroad have come into contact with COVID-19.
