Celtics live to fight another day

[ad_1]

In a remarkable comeback in the second half, the heroic play of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the Boston Celtics to victory over the Miami Heat and extended their season to Sunday at minimum. Tatum and Brown combined for 59 of the Celtics 121 points. Daniel Theis was impressive with his double-double shooting 13 boards and kicking 15 points.

But Celtic fans shouldn’t exhale too fast as the Miami Heat look to bounce back with a vengeance in Game 6. The Celtics have yet to find a way to stop Goran Dragic, who fouled in the fourth quarter.

Miami also has snipers in Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson. Robinson shone with 20 points. Herro’s 14 made a dent, but weren’t enough to push Boston down.

Andre Iguodala scored just two points and received a technical foul in a blatant unnecessary contact with the head of Daniel Theis.

Boston had all the makings of the kids back, but can they keep it up long enough to take Miami to Game 7?

Fans will find out Sunday night.
