BRAD Stevens met with Jayson Tatum, Kemba Walker and other players to ease tensions after the Boston Celtics’ emotional loss to the Miami Heat, according to reports.
The fifth-seeded Heat got two games ahead of the No. 3 Celtics East in the conference finals and emotions rose, and Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown reportedly had to part ways when a shouting match broke out.
Boston blew a big lead, being dominated in the third period on Thursday (Friday Manila time).
Stevens convened the team leaders, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, at the hotel late to discuss the issues; In addition to the screaming, objects were reportedly thrown into the heated locker room.

Walker had downplayed the incident in a post-game interview, saying: “It was nothing … It was nothing.”
The third game is on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).
The struggling Celtics hope to get a boost from Gordon Hayward, who has been out for a month but has been included on the questionable list for Game 3.
