THE National Basketball Associataion (NBA) confirmed Wednesday that it will host the 2020 draft on November 18.
Reports have emerged in recent weeks that the draft date would be moved again as the NBA tries to return to normal after a hiatus of more than four months required by the coronavirus pandemic.
ESPN will broadcast the draft, but the NBA did not announce whether it will take place virtually or in person. The league’s statement added that the date is subject to change “as circumstances require.”
The Minnesota Timberwolves have the top pick in the draft.
