The Philippine Sports Commission, the Games and Amusements Boards, and the Department of Health recently signed a JAO to allow athletes to resume training and practice in professional sports under a more lenient setting.
Under the JAO, a maximum of five basketball and soccer players can train in areas located under GCQ (General Community Quarantine), while a maximum of 10 players can practice in locations under MGCQ (modified).
Other non-contact outdoor sports and other forms of exercise permitted in GCQ areas are walking, jogging, running, cycling, swimming, tennis, badminton, equestrian, outdoor shooting, and skateboarding, while sports Non-contact indoor and outdoor are allowed in MGCQ areas.
