MARK Nonoy and Deo Cuajao are heading to La Salle, SPIN.ph learned, as the exodus of players from Santo Tomas University continues.
A source said SPIN.ph that La Salle camp will soon reveal the acquisition of the two cages.
Nonoy and Cuajao will also go to Davao to meet with La Salle sponsors led by Mans Carpio for a courtesy call, a source also revealed.
Nonoy made an impression on UAAP as the Tigers’ starting point guard, taking Rookie of the Year honors.
Cuajao, for his part, also showed a lot of promise in his campaign with the Growling Tigers.

A possible transfer of the two players had previously been discussed, after a photo surfaced last week of the two with Adamson’s coach, Franz Pumaren.
Now they head to La Salle, who, ironically, is trained by Derrick, Pumaren’s older brother.
The two are just the latest players reported to be exiting UST after bubble training at Sorsogon at the height of the pandemic put the team in trouble.
Since then, CJ Cansino has left UST for UP, while Rhenz Abando, Brent Paraiso and Ira Bataller have joined the NCAA Letran team.
Aldin Ayo has resigned from the position of UST technician, and was indefinitely sanctioned by the UAAP, a sanction that he has appealed.
