The situation surrounding Houston Rockets forward Danuel House Jr. is complicated. The Rockets role player reportedly brought a COVID-19 testing officer to his hotel room in the NBA bubble in Orlando, Florida.
Now, as Game 4 between the Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers quickly approaches, it appears that more Houston players could be implicated in the allegations.
“A woman entered the Rockets team hotel Monday night, passing several security checkpoints before being flagged for entry,” sources said, The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Sam Amick reported. “She left the hotel in the early hours of Tuesday morning, and the league cited the first data points involving two members of the Rockets, House and Tyson Chandler, sources said. When the woman was questioned by NBA security, she did not hint at House’s name and it is not known if she remains on campus, sources said. She claimed to have contact with Chandler and another player, not named House, according to sources.
“According to sources, the entire Rockets team had to enter a quarantine period on Tuesday due to possible exposure. Those sources said there doesn’t appear to be any video connecting House and the woman; just the signage of your entrance and exit from the hotel, and the possibility of a door opening and closing to coincide with those deadlines.
