Dianne Medina and Rodjun Cruz have welcomed their baby.
On Thursday night, September 10, 2020, Dianne announced on social media the arrival of her first child whom they named. Rodolfo Joaquin Diego III or Baby Joaquin for short.
Dianne, who gave birth at exactly 1:55 a.m. at St. Lukes Medical Center in Quezon City, posted on Instagram and Facebook some photos taken during her delivery.
His caption read: “My prayer answered my baby Rodolfo Joaquín Diego III [blue heart emoji]
“Thank you my Almighty Father [thank you emoji] September 10, 2020 1:55 am [baby emoji] please follow our baby @babyjoaquiniluster [emoji]
“Thank you Dra @drmaygonzaga we love you [red heart emoji]”
For his part, Rodjun also uploaded a photo of his hands with Baby Joaquin’s and expressed how much he loves his firstborn.
He wrote: “(September 10, 2020) Welcome to the world Rodolfo Joaquín Diego III. I love you so much my son @babyjoaquinilustre! I will hold your hand forever and guide you every step of the way! [emoji] #AnsweredPrayer Thank you Sir. # BabyJoaquinILustre “.
In a previous interview with PEP.ph, the couple revealed the story behind their baby’s name.
According to Rodjun, “Rodolfo comes from my dad’s name, it means wolf and strong.
“Joaquín is the Spanish version of the biblical name Joachim.
“It is a masculine name that means ‘raised by Yahweh’ or ‘God has established'”.
Dianne threw, “Diego is a boy’s name of Spanish origin that means ‘supplanter’, and then III since he received the name of his father and Lolo Rodolfo”.
Dianne and Rodjun announced that they were going to have a baby through an Instagram post on April 12, 2020.
The couple were married at the Manila Cathedral on December 21, 2019.
