MANILA, Philippines – 1-Pacman party roster representative Eric Pineda revealed on Saturday that he contracted the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“My dear colleagues, I would like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19 today. For those with whom you may have had contact in the last five days, please take the necessary precautions. God bless you, ”Pineda said in a text message to reporters.
Last week, Cavite District 6 Representative Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV also tested positive for the respiratory disease.
To date, the Philippines has recorded 234,570 COVID-19 cases. Of this number, there are 161,668 recoveries and 3,790 deaths.
