A second brother of a man murdered in Birmingham has been charged with his murder.
David Rogers, 32, has been charged with the fatal stabbing of Thomas Rogers on Bristol Road, Bournbrook last Saturday (August 22).
Thomas, 26, was discovered seriously injured near the intersection of Bristol Road and Mill Pool Way in Bournbrook and was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
David Rogers is scheduled to appear in Birmingham Magistrates Court today (August 30).
The 32-year-old man, from Nora Street, South Shields, had been arrested in the Northeast on Thursday morning and taken to the West Midlands for questioning.
His brother Samuel Rogers, 30, and Ryan Hurt, 22, have already been charged with murder and placed in pre-trial detention.
Detective Inspector Stuart Mobberley of our homicide team said: “This is another significant advance in our investigation.
“However, we are still eager to hear from anyone with information, as our questions about what happened last Saturday continue.”
