Dubai: The repatriation of its citizens from the United Arab Emirates to India has entered the second phase, with three new flights taking off from Dubai and Abu Dhabi tomorrow.
In reconfirming the schedule from Dubai, the Indian Consulate General tweeted on Friday: “We are pleased that 11 Air India Express flights to India are planned from Dubai in the second phase of the Vande Bharat Mission, which begins tomorrow, 16 May and ends on May 23. “
According to the Air India Express schedule, the three flights that will depart on Saturday (May 16) include one from Dubai to Kochi and two from Abu Dhabi to Thiruvananthapuram and Khozikode.
Flights on May 17 include two to Kochi, one from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, plus one to Kannur from Dubai.
Starting May 18, there is a flight from Dubai to Mangalore and from Abu Dhabi to Kochi.

Repatriation flights to India began on May 7.
Since then, there has been a steady stream of Indians flying back to their home country on special flights scheduled under the Vande Bharath Mission.
