12 more Filipinos abroad test positive for COVID-19; total now at 2,322

MANILA – The Department of Foreign Relations reported on Thursday 12 new cases of the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that involved Filipinos abroad, bringing the total to 2,322.

The count includes 774 recoveries and 269 deaths.

The DFA said 1,279 of the identified cases are receiving treatment for the disease, broken down regionally as follows: 132 in Asia-Pacific, 394 in Europe, 561 in the Middle East and Africa, and 192 in the Americas.

In the Philippines, coronavirus disease has so far infected 11,876 people, with 790 deaths and 2,337 recoveries.
