In an experiment conducted in Japan, it has been shown that even a person can easily spread germs if they are infected.

The experiment was conducted by the NHK public broadcasting organization and health experts. It was configured similarly to a buffet restaurant or on a cruise ship.

The experiment shows 10 people dining at a buffet. The participants, unknown to the infected person, continue to the buffet and sit at the table, under normal circumstances. However, at the end of the experiment, participants are thrown under black lights that illuminate where the infection has spread.

A substance was used to indicate germs / infection. When the participants were subjected to black light, the substance could be seen in food, serving utensils, and dishes, and even on the faces of some of them.

“What the video showed is that it will spread to surfaces and people very efficiently and I think it really highlights the need for what people have been saying about hand hygiene to stop the spread of the disease,” John Nicholls, clinical professor of pathology at the University of Hong Kong explained to a media organization.

However, the experiment cannot be fully believed, as the group’s primary focus was on touching substances.

Another way to carry out this experiment that experts have suggested is to let the infected person wash their hands for 5-10 seconds and then watch the spread of the infection.

However, this experiment demonstrated how easily the virus can spread in public meetings, even if only one person is infected.
