One of the new patients, marked Bicol No. 61, is a 45-year-old man from the city of Labo, Camarines Norte. He went to a checkup at the provincial hospital on May 4, a week after showing symptoms, the DOH said.
DOH is still discovering how it contracted the coronavirus.
The other patient, rated Bicol No. 60, is a 45-year-old man from Tigaon, a city in the province of Camarines Sur. It was confirmed with COVID-19 on Monday, three days after the city had a coronavirus infection.

According to DOH, the patient’s respiratory samples were taken by workers from the Camarines Sur provincial health office.
