The peace of Cebu was shattered when the first case of 2019 coronavirus disease (Covid-19) was reported on the island on March 18, 2020.

Residents had endured the restrictive blocks believing that within two weeks, the period that the World Health Organization said was the Covid-19 incubation period (the time between infection and the onset of symptoms), all sick people would be revealed and then sent. to hospitals for treatment, and the quarantine would be lifted a month after the declaration.
But six weeks after the shutdown, aided by the ability to conduct mass testing, the cases have only skyrocketed, reaching new and even remote areas, prompting frustrated residents to yell: How did the virus get there?
It is a question that SunStar Cebu hopes to answer with a list of the first patients reported in each new area in Cebu, which does not mean that these patients have caused subsequent infections in these areas.
