MANILA, Philippines – The long wait is over for basketball fans like The last Dance, the long-awaited documentary about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls dynasty, finally aired on Sunday, April 19 (Monday, April 20, Manila time).

The first two episodes of the 10-part miniseries made immediate noise on social media, prompting reactions from current and retired NBA players, including Dwyane Wade and Magic Johnson.

Current NBA stars like Utah guard Jazz Donovan Mitchel and Portland Trail Blazers star couldn’t hide their excitement as well, while Blazers guard CJ McCollum praised Scottie Pippen, the underrated Bulls star from the 90s.

Indiana Pacers ‘Victor Oladipo and Brooklyn Nets’ DeAndre Jordan looked set for the next two episodes of the documentary, which will air next week.

WNBA stars Chiney Ogwumike and Arike Ogunbowale also shared their thoughts on the documentary.
