Rio Ferdinand insists that Paul Pogba cannot be blamed for Manchester United’s problems this season after the midfielder was beaten by several experts.

Roy Keane has repeatedly criticized Pogba for his performances for United, while Souness engaged in a war of words with the French after the Red Devil admitted that he did not know who the expert was.

Souness challenged Pogba to put his “medals on the table” and Ferdinand responded to criticism that the World Cup winner has received.

Pogba has played only seven times in the Premier League this season due to injury, and Ferdinand insists that his critics must back down.

“I think it’s frustration, but I think a lot of it is from social media,” Ferdinand said on FIVE’s YouTube channel when asked about the criticism of Pogba.

‘I think people’s opinions in the media are of their presence on social media.

‘I think many of the boys are from the old school. I have been accused of being a bit like that at times, especially at first when I first entered the experience.

‘You want people to do the same as before. You take the game seriously, you’re not broadcasting all that on social media.

Injured He is hurt, he dances at a wedding, this is Paul Pogba. That is his life.

‘You cannot beat him with a stick because that is his personality, he is different from everyone else.

‘Paul Pogba does not drink, he is not a nightclub merchant, but he goes to social networks. What’s worse?

‘Men like me would be at a disco and sometimes they would drink. He doesn’t do that, but he’s still being vilified for being there, smiling, and being happy.

‘Is he being happy, shouldn’t he be because he’s hurt? I do not agree with that.

‘People’s mental health, you must be yourself in your downtime.

‘What do people expect? I understand that social media plays an important role in a player’s perspective.

‘But trust me, Paul Pogba is someone who works hard, desperate to be a great footballer and keep winning trophies at Manchester United, or elsewhere.

Keep Keep hitting him right now from such a negative point of view when he’s played seven games this season.

‘And he is the vocal talking point about why Man United is not doing so well. How is he to blame? I do not get it “.
