MANILA – Pacman’s party list representative Enrico Pineda said Saturday that he tested positive for COVID-19.
“My dear colleagues and friends, I would like to inform everyone that I tested positive for COVID-19 today,” he said in a statement.
Pineda, chairman of the House of Representatives labor and employment committee, urged those he had contacted to take the necessary precautions.
He is one of the 2 representatives of the party 1-Pacman-list or A Patriotic Coalition of Marginalized Nationals, which advocates “for the marginalized and displaced sector of the country.”
The lawmaker, who is among those who voted against giving ABS-CBN a new franchise in July, is the father of Kapamilya star Enzo Pineda. – With a report by Zandro Ochona, ABS-CBN News
