Philadelphia 76-year-old Dwight Howard exits after winning the ’20 title ring for Staples Center

LOS ANGELES – The Philadelphia 76ers spread a huge smile on their faces before facing the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night, receiving their 2020 championship ring with fellow former Lakers Danny Green.

It didn’t take long for Howard’s expression to enthusiastically turn into a villain.

When Howard returned to Staples Center, he walked out between the first and second quarters, after referee Ken Fitzgerald called a technical foul on Howard on his way to a Philadelphia bench after hearing a buffer.

Howard and Harrell were asked for a double technical foul to tangle with 1 minute, 8 seconds left in the first quarter, automatically disqualifying the second technique for Howard.

Harrell pushed Howard away from it and headed to the Lakers bench, continuing to say goodbye to the three-year-old defensive player of the year winner while he filed the case with Fitzgerald.

The Sixers won 109-101.

“I just thought it was a very selfish game,” Philadelphia coach Doc Rivers said of Howard. “You have one tech, you can’t get another. We just have to have better discipline. I’ve got it. I know there are a lot of emotions. But we had a center on our team and it went out. I was. “I’m not very happy with it. I know it’s an emotional game. But it’s P ve. We’ve got better discipline.”

It’s unclear what the pair’s bad blood is, but while playing for the LA Clippers, last season’s sixth man of the year, Harvard, never joined the Lakers in the seasons and signed Howard with the Sixers.

At the start of Free Agency in November, Howard tweeted, “I’ve been right where I live. Cozy nation I like you. Purple and gold never age.”

In a bizarre turn of events, he quickly deleted the tweet and signed a one-year, 2. 2.6 million deal with Philadelphia. Later that day, the Lakers agreed to a two-year, 19 19 million deal with Herald.
