Phil Spencer says there is a ‘long list’ of exclusive items on the console

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said that he and Microsoft want to bring Xcloud to Xbox consoles and PCs, but that’s a long list of “cool things that the team is working on.” On Twitter, who cited a post from Insider’s Ben Gilbert on why the Xbox Game Pass doesn’t come to consoles and PCs, Spencer made it clear that the Xcloud team intends to bring streaming service to consoles and PCs.

“Yes, we want to do this,” Spencer said. “Those clicks are on the long list of things that the cloud team is working on, a little further down the list. But we want console and PC players to be able to browse as easily as mobile players, it is a good game pass feature. “

Currently, Xcloud is only available on Android phones and tablets, although internal testing for Windows 10 PC began earlier this year. It is unavailable on iOS devices due to Apple’s guidelines that prevent Microsoft Microsoft Ft from streaming the Game Pass library. But, despite being an Xbox product, Xcloud is unavailable on the actual Xbox console, and therefore must be downloaded in full to play games. If or when Xcloud makes it to the Xbox, it will allow players to sample games before they commit to downloading, or playing entire games through the cloud.
