The popular YouTuber PewDiePie, which operates the second most-subscribed channel on the platform, has released a new video, in tribute to the late Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant died of suicide on June 14, at the age of 34. His latest film, Dil Bechara, will be released on Friday.
“I’m not going to pretend I know who this guy was,” he said in his video, adding that people were scared after they recently spoke about him in an earlier video. He said he made the video as a tribute. The 24-minute video is currently trending at number five on YouTube, and has amassed more than 3.4 million views.
PewDiePie said, “He’s a great guy, such a smart guy, such a good message that I sincerely believe in such a tragedy … it really saddens you to think that he passed away at such a young age.” “He added:” The police say that he died of suicide, but at least personally … I cannot understand the suicide and there has been all this controversy and theories about whether he really committed suicide or what happened … I don’t know. on that, but I want it to be just a video (paying tribute to him) because I think he’s a great guy and I wanted to share it with my audience. “

The video tribute is essentially PewDiePie’s reaction to a speech Sushant gave to college students in 2016. “All these years, I was obsessed with what will happen. He was constantly oscillating from the past to the future, without living in a real sense. And for the first time in a long time, I understood the true meaning of success, which was not money plus recognition, but “now” more excitement, “Sushant said.
PewDiePie connected with this. He said in his video: “It’s just this statement I had about living in the moment … obviously this was a couple of years ago, but you wouldn’t kill yourself if you had this mindset … I don’t think so at all, but again, I don’t want to add to that … Rest in peace Sushant … I’d love to meet you … he seems like an amazing guy and thanks for being you. “
PewDiePie was previously involved in a fight with producer Ekta Kapoor, and then campaigned against a major Indian record label in an effort to become the most subscribed YouTube channel.
