Paul Cartney says he talks to Beatles bandmate George Harrison through a tree

Paul McCartney says he seems to be late with Beatles band member George Harrison and “talks” to him frequently.

Rocker, 78, revealed that he prefers to visit and chat with an evergreen coniferous tree that has been planted near his former Sussex home in England.

Harrison gave him a tree in 2001 before he died of a battle with lung cancer. He was 58 years old.

“George was very gardening, [he was] “The great Grammy winner took into account all aspects of the NPR.” He gave it to me [the] Tree as a present. It’s a big fir tree and it’s through my gate. “

“I was just leaving my house [on the morning of Dec. 18], I got out of the car and closed the gate, looked at the tree and said, ‘Hi, George,’ “McCartney described. “It’s growing stronger there … it takes me back to the time I went with the hiccup! [George and John Lennon still have] One always present. “

The singer-songwriter described the tree as “beautiful” and said, “As the years go by, every time I see it, ‘George gave it to me.’ George has entered that tree for me. I hope he is happy with it. “

McCartney also talked about being for Harrison through his cancer battle.

Paul McCartney says he “suffered a lot” to keep the Beatles after John Lennon left.

“We were in New York before he went to Los Angeles to die … We were sitting there, and I held his hand, and it happened to me – I never said this – I don’t want to hold George’s hand. You hold your partner’s hand. No. I mean we couldn’t do it anyway.

The entertainer described how Harrison traveled around the world to try and find a cure and became bored and frustrated towards the end of his life.

“I remember he was a little annoyed by the whole time traveling – someone was chasing a cure. They went to Geneva to see what they could do. Then they came to a special clinic in New York to see what they could do. Then thought to go to LA and see what they could do. He was talking a bit, ‘Can’t we just stay in one place?’ And I said, ‘Yes, Speak Hall. Let’s go to Speak Hall,’ he said.

“That was one of the last things we said to each other, knowing that he would be the only person in the room who knew what Speak Hall (a public garden and estate in Liverpool) was. Anyway, when it was nice for me I held George’s hand. Was, he looked at me, and there was a smile. “
