Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs bought a new Ferrari 812 Superfast

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes signed a contract extension this season worth up to $ 503 million, keeping him in Kansas City for the 2031 season.

It appears that Mahomes is making a small expense after securing a long-term contract extension. On Tuesday, he became a co-owner of the Kansas City Royals, joining a group of homeowners of nearly two dozen. It seems like a smart investment, with the franchise valued at $ 1 billion and the team about to do a World Series in the future.

According to ESPN’s Louis Riddick, buying the Royals is not the only purchase Mahomes made on Tuesday. Riddick tweeted a photo of Mahomes’ new trip.

Mahomes has apparently bought a Ferrari 812 Superfast, which according to the Ferrari website is the “fastest and most powerful Ferrari so far”. This ultra-fast car comes equipped with a V12 engine that reaches nearly 800 horsepower. A call to your official Ferrari dealer will tell you that the base model of the car starts at around $ 340K. So Mahomes didn’t even make a dent in the money earned from his new contract. In fact, you could have bought this car with your rookie salary.

Riddick may refer to Mahomes as “Ferrari Pat”, but this car has so much speed that it looks like it might be better suited for Tyreek Hill, Mahomes Chiefs’ teammate.

Safe driving, Pat.
