Paris Hilton is ready to talk about a traumatic moment from her past.
In the first trailer for her upcoming YouTube Originals documentary, “This is Paris,” Hilton is seen confidentially in her family about something that happened to her when she first grew up.
“I do not even know who I am sometimes. That was not me before,” she says in a voice-over. “Something happened in my childhood that I never talked to anyone before.”
Talking to her family – both sister Nicky and mother Kathy are seen in the trailer – she adds, “But I could not tell you guys, because every time I tried, I would be punished by them.”
Nicky adds, “I just heard screaming bloody murder.”
In the trailer, Paris says that the incident still gives her nightmares – and explains that, “the only thing that saved my health was to think about who I wanted to be when I got out.”

According to Hilton, she went on to create “this brand, this persona and this character and I have been stuck with her ever since.”
