Pacers 121, Knicks 107: Entertaining scenes from Alfred Payton

The Knicks played an extraordinary piece of basketball against the Pacers on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, that was the first half, and the Pacers are a good basketball team that knows how to make adjustments.

Arthe took a 66-611 lead at halftime, but the mood was shattered when it was announced that the rest of the game would be missed after the entertainment Emmanuel Quickly fell victim to a hip pointer.

Quickly P.G. Alfred Payton took over the task of initially starting ineffectively and once again provided the spark for the Knicks. Once Quickly left the game, he was all down there. The vampire was virtually unplayable and the Knicks’ offensive big time stalled.

Ryan Barrett had a strong game. The second-year man looked like an all-star in the first half, breaking 20 points in a full 8-8 shooting. It will finish 11-15 for just 26 points, though that’s bad – to go with 8 rebounds, 5 assists and just 1 turnover.

Obi Toppin had a fantastic night, finishing 3-12 off the field – albeit very nice 3-7 from outside the arc – and he threw a full dime to RJ.

Julius Randle played a tremendous part of the team’s basketball of the first half, but as the pacers pulled, he largely turned to his usual bullshit.

There will be a recap of Alex. Good day of the week.
