The world is eagerly awaiting the birth of Katy Perry and the daughter of Orlando Bloom. Probably the only two people waiting even more are Perry and Bloom themselves. She will be Perry’s first child and Bloom’s second. He has a son, Flynn, with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Bloom appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on August 11 to promote his latest film, Mention. The actor could not help but cry over his excitement to have a daughter.
Orlando Bloom has easily taken it in quarantine
Since the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Bloom has been isolated with his son and Perry. For him, it has been a positive opportunity to spend more time with his family. He picked up movies The Outpost en Retaliatin for the pandemic, so he promoted their releases from home.
“I worked a lot and I found some charity,” Bloom told Fallon. ‘I think it’s a reset. Everyone feels it as a reset that, perhaps, we all needed the opportunity to reflect on what is important and what we have done. I just hope that thinking can continue about past and through, once there are faxes in place and people want to continue their lives. ”

Bloom says that his Amazon series Carnival Row intends to return to work, following coronavirus protocols. He also expressed sympathy for people who could not isolate as comfortably as he could.
“There are people who could not get out of their apartments for weeks,” Bloom said. ‘I felt very grateful. Of course I have a little girl on the way. ”

Behind Bloom sat planks and boards of Lego builds. Fallon asked Bloom about her and Bloom showed the work he and Wyatt have been up to in recent months.

“This is hours of quarantine,” Bloom said. ‘Those are Legos. I found it actually reassuring. Flynn and I started here with this big silver Porsche and got in there like that. He would go, ‘Dad, I’m going to bed.’ I would like to be, ‘Just 15 minutes left. Open the next bag. ‘”
A daughter will become entirely territory
Bloom acknowledged that the prospect of a daughter was especially appealing to him. He hopes for a unique father / daughter bond that distinguishes his two parenting experiences.
“I’m so excited to have a little daddy’s girl,” Bloom told Fallon. ‘I hope she loves me as much as I love her. That daddy-girl thing, that love of your life feeling, I think, is just about there. ‘

Flynn is excited to have a sister as well. He has other sibling through Kerr, but they are boys too.
“I have a nine-year-old boy,” Bloom said. ‘He has a few other brothers, but this is his first sister, so he’s raised too. These are exciting times. ”
