Original Death Vader David Proves dies at 85

According to his agent, Thomas Bowlington, Pervez died after a short illness. CNN reported in 2018 that Provez was undergoing treatment for prostate cancer.

The Bowlington management said on Twitter on Sunday, “It is with great sadness and heartbreak for us and millions of fans around the world to announce that our client Dave Pro MBE has passed away at the age of 85.”

“The force will always be with him, always!” His former agent Thomas Bowlington said in a statement to the BBC.

“Despite being famous for playing many monsters – for me, and all who knew Dave and worked with him, he was a hero in our lives.”

Pruise wore a black suit and helmet to play Darth Vader, but it was actor James Earl Jones who voiced the character. Proves was deemed unsuitable for the English pronunciation part of the western country.

Dave Prove is in the role of Green Cross Code Man with the students of Lambeth John Primary School in London.

But it was his role as the “Green Cross Code Man” from the British Road Safety Campaign, in which Proves said he was most proud. For this role he was awarded an MBE in 2000 – a member of the British Empire’s Best Order.

Provez was born into the working class and was born on a council estate in Southmead, south-west England. He received a scholarship to study at the Bristol Grammar School.

He had a passion for bodybuilding and was often crowned British weightlifting champion in the 1960s. According to the website IMDB, they became lifelong friends with actor Arnold Schwarzenegger during his weightlifting years.

His broad body and huge figure helped him to play the role of monsters and villains in TV shows and movies. He played a monster in “The Horror Frank Frankenstein” in 1970 and tortured Daard in 1971 in “Carrie on Henry”. That same year, he played a bodyguard in 1971 in Stanley Kubrick’s distant film “A Clockwork Orange”.

He played the role of Darth Vader in the original “Star Wars” films in 1977, 1980 and 1983.

Health and fitness was an interest for Prove, who also worked as a personal trainer for actors playing the role of Superman, including Christopher Reeve, and wrote a book called “Fitness is Fun.”

He published an autobiography, Straight for Four Mouth, in 2011.
