Oregon’s 1,517 new COVID-19 cases recorded in 4 straight records

Portland, Ore. (KTVZ) – On the fourth day, the Oregon Health Authority broke the record of 1,517 new confirmed and considered cases of Covid-19 in Reg.

Which brings the state to a total of 65,170 cases and 944,444 negative test results.

OVN-219 also claimed one more life in Oregon, bringing the state’s death toll to 2,060, the OHA reported Sunday morning at 1:01 p.m.

Sunday’s case count was eight higher than the 1,509 reported on Saturday, followed by 1,225 daily cases reported on Thursday and 1,306 new cases on Friday.

“Oregon is at the forefront of a growing coronavirus case,” Patrick Allen, director of the OHA, said Sunday. “But we can’t deal with this virus. Because it is up to us to slow the spread. Your choices make a difference.

“Local health officials in every part of the state investigated the outbreak, which started with seemingly innocent get-away gutters at the time, but many fell ill, and in some cases, were hospitalized and died.

“This Thanksgiving, cancel any plans you have to celebrate indoors with large groups of family and friends. The safest, wisest and most caring way to keep your loved ones safe is to keep your Thanksgiving dinner small and not confined to any other home than your own. Have time to remember the holidays, not time to regret. ”

The newly confirmed and estimated COVID-19 cases reported on Sunday are in the following counties: Benton (7), Clockmas (207), Clatop (7), Columbia (8), Koos (9), Crook (6), Deschutes (38). ), Douglas (12), Grant (15), Hood River (6), Jackson (55), Jefferson (8), Josephine (14), Klamath (53), Lake (6), Lane (64), Lincoln ( 1), Lynn (27), Malhaur (16), Marion (183), Morrow (7), Multnomah (516), Polk (26), Umatila (47), Union (5), Vasco (11), Washington ( 128), and Yamhill (35).

Reg Reagan’s 820th Covid-19 death is a 65-year-old man in Multnomah County who tested positive on Nov. 15 and died Nov. 15. The presence of the place of death and underlying conditions are being confirmed.
