OnePlus Nord will introduce camera technology generally reserved for flagships

OnePlus has been slowly releasing details about its next affordable phone, the OnePlus Nord. The main camera system will apparently have four sensors, and depending on the leak Ishan Agarwal, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) will also be part of the package.
This technology adjusts the camera lens when it detects that you have moved to reduce motion blur. An OIS-backed camera can be especially useful in low-light conditions, as the combination of hardware and software processing ensures that images come out clear and sharp. Videos recorded with those cameras are also much smoother.

This technology is generally reserved for high-end phones because the required hardware adds to the cost of setup, so it’s great that a supposed phone under $ 500 gets it, too.

And in today’s episode of the OnePlus Nord leaks, we were also shown the box it will come in.

It is confirmed that the phone comes with the Snapdragon 765G chip that guarantees 5G connectivity. Also in stone is the dual selfie camera that will be housed in a drilled hole and a simple flat screen design. OnePlus has not confirmed the specifications of the front camera, but a leak says that we will be treated with a 32MP main shooter and an 8MP wide-angle module.
It is unclear whether the phone will actually be shipped with a Four-camera setup, and a triple-camera system seems equally likely. Based on a customer survey, we are potentially looking for 64MP, 16MP, and 2MP sensors.

It goes without saying that the front camera and rear camera specs look pretty solid for a midranger and add 5G to the mix, OnePlus Nord could be one of the best affordable phones in 2020.
