OnePlus Nord is less than a week away from launch, but you have one more chance to pre-order the phone if you’re already convinced it’s a great buy. However, you will have to be fast.
OnePlus opened this third and final pre-order window at 9am UK time, and will keep it open for exactly 24 hours. It is available to customers in Europe, including the UK and India. We know that the United States is being barred from buying the Nord at the moment, although OnePlus is expected to bring the new phone to the US at a later date.
The previous two pre-orders sold out very quickly, but that’s because OnePlus only delivered 100 and 900 phones in total during the first and second period, respectively. There doesn’t appear to be a certain number of phones OnePlus is offering this time around, but be aware of the time limit if you haven’t made up your mind yet.
If you decide you want this new mid-range Android phone, you can go to OnePlus’ Nord’s pre-order page, where you can then pay a £ 20 deposit to secure your phone. By doing this, you will get “Limited Edition OnePlus Nord merchandise” both when you reserve your phone and when you complete the transaction after the phone launches.
That release will take place on July 21, via an AR-enhanced keynote. In addition to the Nord, we could also be seeing OnePlus Buds, OnePlus’ first attempt at truly wireless headphones that promise to have an incredible 30-hour battery life.
Between the leaks and OnePlus’ own previews, we already know quite a bit about the Nord, and there are some good reasons to be excited. For under $ 500, OnePlus promises a 6.4-inch phone with a 90Hz AMOLED screen, two selfie cameras, quad rear cameras, 5G connectivity, and a large battery capable of quickly charging 30W.
Compared to the current mid-range king, the iPhone SE (2020), the Nord seems to have a huge hardware advantage. Therefore, we are very interested to see if the whole experience matches or even beats Apple’s excellent budget iPhone.
