Attensio didn’t start skating or her ticketing account to gain fame, but she quickly discovered communities in both that she never experienced when she was growing up.

Swipe around, and you’ll find skaters like Brianna King, an incredibly popular creator who is known for offering tips when newcomers can start using or Scottboobs, a -l-girl skateboard group in Scotland that specializes in their time skating. Problems that have existed for years in skate culture are also on the ticket ok. Men make negative comments on calling girls posers and on the way women skate. Perimen tries not to pay attention to the comments, but Atensio argues that the positive comments he received are more than negative.
“For every negative comment there will be like 20x more complimentary comments where people push me and say good job,” Atensio said.
But creators like Atensio and Perimen want to get people off the ticket ok story and really encourage people to try skateboarding. Skateboarding for perimen and ten tennis is as much about getting on and off the board as it is about meeting people. It’s Athensio’s close friends – whom she met at the skateparks, she says – who pushed her to “do what I do on a ticket ok.”
