A search is underway in the Chicago area for a United Airlines executive named Jake Cefolia. Mr. Cefolia, who serves as the senior vice president of the global sales airline, has been missing since Aug. 6, when he was last seen. A search is currently underway for Mr Cefolia, but he is not yet available.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Jake Cefolia has been missing since August 6, 2020. Mr. Cefolia’s redhead was found at the Glen Forest Preserve Waterfall near Lemont, just outside Chicago. The local Elmhurst Police Department is conducting the investigation to find Mr. Cefolia. More than 100 people and police dogs searched for Mr. Cefolia in the forest reserve. However, he was not to be found.
The investigation remains ongoing. ABC 7 Chicago reported that Chief David Peterson of DuPage County’s Forest Preserve District stated that Mr. Cefolia often walked several miles over the forest floor. He has so far not come into contact with friends, family members or authorities.
Of course, it is unclear about the circumstances of Mr. Cefolia’s disappearance. The situation develops and, hopefully, Mr. Cefolia can be found soon.
Who’s Jake Cefolia?
Jake Cefolia is the senior vice president of global sales at United Airlines. He was promoted to the part in 2018. As part of his role, he managed hundreds of sales professionals who in turn managed various sales programs, services, relationships, revenue with corporations, travel management companies, and distributors around the world. He is a veteran of the aviation industry and has spent his entire career in the field.
Mr Cefolia has been with United since 2007. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President of Sales for the Americas. He oversees sales for the United States, Canada, and Latin America, as well as the Global Accounts department. His other previous roles include the Director of the Global Accounts Department and Vice President of Atlantic and Pacific Sales. He has served as the Executive Director of the Pacific Region of United based in Hong Kong. His previous airline experience includes roles for sales leaders with Northwest Airlines and British Airways.
Mr. Cefolia graduated with a degree in management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is 49 years old.
