This Aston Martin The Victor, a privately-operated one-car, which I just heard from British friends on social media, could be a great vehicle coming out in 2020. .. Manual transmission ?!
The more I argue the more I see it. I love it. I mean, I Really Love it It’s so pleasantly different!
Some British publications and show-goers saw Victor personally on this guy this week Concerns of elegance at Hampton Court Palace (Where people don’t seem very concerned about coronavirus based on social media pics) But a spokesman for Aston Martin told me there were no plans to put an official press release about Victor, as the owner wanted to keep the car “low.” The key
Not clear Also The low key or the car wouldn’t have been put on a show, but I have to admit that this is something more surprising than spending weeks sorting out teaser photos.
G / O media can get commission
I guess AM isn’t too worried about hyping it anyway, if it really only makes one, I guess it’s sold out! I asked what the mysterious client paid for the privilege of being the only person to own Aston’s most powerful manual-shift supercar, but the people of the company surprisingly refused to share.
Even so, whoever spent mint on this magnificent monster bought more than just deserved facts. The car is unique, which gets harder by pulling all the time. A document Aston’s representative sent me describes Victor as “inspired by the 70’s and 80’s Aston Martin V8 Vantage.” More specifically: “… the 1970s Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the ’80s and’ 70s DBS V8 developed as a RHM / 1 for a race in a 24-man lens.”
Here’s what they’re talking about:
Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either, but I get a little confused about how the ’70s and’ 80s’ vibes can be used to describe the same car. Modified in the decade of.
It’s pretty cool the way this aesthetic was put into a completely new look, and the oily bits (the British are allowed when discussing the custom Ast Stun Martin) are never separated from the coolest parts:
- Naturally from one-asp – 3-liter V-3, tuned by Cosworth 6 836 brake horsepower and 99 l lb-ft of torque.
- The six-speed manual transmission, built by Graziano (UK division of Axel Authority Dana), will probably cost more to replace than what I have spent so far in my life for car maintenance.
- 380mm front, 360mm rear Brembo CMM-R carbon ceramic brakes.
- Inboard springs and dampers from Track-Ast Stun Martin Vulcan only.
- The team worked to bring the Valkyrie Hypercar to life.
- Finished in “Pentland Green” and satin carbon fiber with Forest Green interior, Veer’s fancy leather outfit was sewn by Conker Bridge that used cashmere on the headliner. Also: Solid nut (!) Dashboard is crown cut, whatever it means and The wooden shift matches the knob.
I’m not usually excited about ultra-elite supercars, I’ll never see them in the skin, but I have to say, this thing just looks incredible. The design boundary is weird, but I’m digging it. And the high performance / luxury friction turned out really well. At least, based on what we can see in this photo.
Will the world see this car again? If we don’t, I’m just going to dump the whole stack of official facial photos I got. Take your time with this, a lot is going on.
