The star twins thrive in Trofors with their family.
Twins Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen (18) have been hugely successful since they broke through in 2012.
At that time, they won the Melodi Grand Prix Jr. with the song “Como dos drops de agua”, and since then the charming twins have appeared on stages around the world both alone and with world stars such as Jason Derulo (31). The 18-year-olds have benefited greatly from this.

In 2019, DN reported that the Gunnarsen twins billed NOK 60 million the previous year.
Revenue came from concert activities, music rights, streaming and merchandise sales, where the latter business achieved a record turnover of over NOK 30 million and a pre-tax profit of NOK 11 million.

The duo had a turnover of the same amount in music, and the star twins earned a total of 22 million in 2018.

Cherish family time
The online newspaper recently met with the popular twins at the Prime Minister’s office, where they said they will likely live at their home in Trofors with their family for a few more years.
– We live at home and thrive there. Of course, we’ve been home a lot now, but we tend to be away so much that we appreciate where we come from, they said.

Before the corona pandemic, 18-year-olds gambled a lot both in Norway and around the world, but it came to an abrupt end when strict restrictions and travel bans were introduced to reduce the risk of infection. They have spent their free time with their family.
– We really appreciate where we come from and where we live, especially when we tend to have so little time with family. So it’s nice to be able to make the best use of that time, they told Nettavisen, adding that they had thought about moving earlier.
– We have thought about moving, but we will see in the future. It will probably happen for sure that we move, we promise.
When the big move-in day rolls around, you’ll probably move in together.
– We’ll probably move in together for the first few years, at least.
