Erling Braut Haaland (19) thanks Neymar (28) for helping to spread the meditation to the world.
With two scores at home, Erling Braut Haaland led Borussia Dortmund to beat PSG 2-1 at home in the Champions League. One of the objectives that he marked with his well-known “Zen celebration”, but on the track Paris St. Germain responded with the same coin.
The French champion not only eliminated the Germans from the Champions League, but mocked Haaland in the same depression.
Neymar first copied the celebration when he sent the French to the head. After the battle, once the advance was assured, the entire squadron posed in “Haaland-pose”.
Neymar must have been the mastermind behind Haaland’s slightly sarcastic imitation. Before the game, a photo of the 19-year-old was circulating on social networks with the text: “My city, not yours.” The image was interpreted as a sting against PSG, but then it turned out to be false.
However, before that was resolved, Neymar and the rest of PSG’s star gallery managed to fight Haaland.
But the exchange between Haaland and Neymar was not over, for now the Norwegian responds to the Brazilian superstar.
The young Norwegian national team denies that it cared about Neymar and the PSG players’ celebration.
– I think they helped me a lot to bring meditation to the world and to show everyone that meditation is something important. So I am grateful for the help they gave me, he says ESPN.
Haaland has clearly found a passion in meditation. You need it now that football is on hold.
– I train and meditate a lot, and I play FIFA with my friends, the council told me last week.
In the ESPN interview, Haaland also took the opportunity to pay tribute to one of his younger peers. For the Norwegian, he is not the only teenager to have turned up for yellow and black this season.
Giovanni Reyna, 17, of the United States, was the top scorer of one of Haaland’s goals against PSG, and he predicts a great future.
– Is a great player. Statistics don’t lie, but they show what he’s done for us this season. He is a fantastic player and he will be even better. We are lucky to have him here, Haaland thinks.
The Norwegian has become one of the most talked about names in football this season. He stands out with ten goals in seven games in the Champions League. In the Bundesliga he has nine goals in nine games.
It is not yet clear when German football can be kicked again. Management hopes to be able to make a decision next Wednesday.
