The night until May 1 is a holiday for many, and especially for Russians. As a result, the police in Oslo often discover that there is more noise and confusion tonight. But this year there is little to hear from Russian.

– Surprisingly, we haven’t seen anything about them. Outside is not Russian, COO Sven Christian Lie said at the age of 22.

He says Russian behavior has been exemplary this year, thanks to infection prevention recommendations. This night so far is no more worrisome than other days.

– Generally we see them from January or February. But this year we have not seen or heard the Russian, he says.

So what does the Russian do?

The Russians are at home

“My friends are sitting at home watching Landstreff TIX,” said Russian President Johann Rief of the Russian board of directors.

The artist of the Russian song TIX, in collaboration with several, is organizing a Russian meeting on the Internet, where Rief is a guest. Therefore, Rief hopes that many will throw small parties in their living rooms while watching the show.

The Russian president says the Russian has postponed much of the Russian time this summer. The fortress on the buses, known as the rolling stock, will begin on June 16.

Some gathered in Frogner Park

The Aftenposten photographer in Oslo on Thursday night can also confirm that there is little Russian on the streets.

In Frogner Park, however, approx. 100 Russians gathered. Here, a Russian was picked up in an ambulance after Medruss announced he was too intoxicated, and a police patrol was also on site.

– We’ve been here a few hours. It has been raining, but we are good in clothes, it is going well. It was a good atmosphere, says Karen Hansen (19).

She says there have been dozens of Russians who have gathered in the park, mostly around 100.

– I am passionate about crown measurements, so when I see large crowds, I walk away. But I’m also trying to get some Russian time, she says.

– We just received a small message about the connection that there have been some young people in Frogner Park, operations manager Tor Gulbrandsen tells Aftenposten.

– There have probably been or are some Russians or young people gathered there. The patrol tried to contact them, but then they were blown away, he says.

On Thursday, the announcement came that authorities would consider allowing events with up to 200 people starting June 15.

– It sounded incredibly good. Now it’s just that we continue to maintain a good distance between us. We only find five and five. In this way, we help open up a little more this summer, says Russian President Rief.
