The couple’s firstborn came into the world in April 2014, just six months after Tone and Markus first went public.
Two years ago, Tone was able to reveal that Bille was dreaming of his brothers.
– Billie himself is very clear. She wants a little brother or sister. Markus and I have no time perspective, but I can say I want more children, he told Se and Listen at the time.
Damli has been asking the press for several years if she could not become a mother again soon. To that she has always responded positively, but it was only now that the dream came true.
Damli has also previously opened up about the birth of his daughter. When she visited Sandra Lyng Haugen’s podcast “Smelt på Tjukka” in the fall of 2018, she said it wasn’t exactly as she had imagined.
– I got an epidural, which was absolutely amazing and I fell asleep. At around seven on April 28, Billie came into the world, bright blue on the face, and caught between two rows, but it was great, the artist said on the podcast.
According to Tone, giving birth was the most painful thing she experienced, but she noted that she felt great afterward. So nice that she actually walked for half an hour after giving birth, much to the nurse’s concern.
Stay at home
This isn’t the only child-related issue that the singer has been in the media for this week. She was able to say recently that they chose to keep their daughter home from kindergarten due to the crown situation in the world now.
– It is a very conscious decision that we did not send Billie to kindergarten. First, we have taken everything around the crown very seriously, he told Dagbladet.
In the Damli family, no one is infected with the virus, but the 32-year-old man explained that they still chose to isolate themselves from the outside world.
– It is not about me, it is about those who cannot tolerate the corona virus. So while the chance of Billie, and later us, having a coronary infection is small, we have chosen to delay the start of kindergarten, he said more.
