Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Misjustin (54) is infected with the corona virus, reports RIA Novosti. He has informed President Vladimir Putin about the disease.
Surprisingly, Misjustin was named prime minister as envoy as in January when Putin decided to replace his old friend Dmitry Medvedev.
Deputy Prime Minister Andrej Belousov is Acting Prime Minister, while Misjustin is self-isolated, Putin himself told Russian television.
The Prime Minister has been diagnosed at the same time that Russia is receiving more and more confirmed crown infections and more deaths.
As of Thursday, there were 106,498 infected and 1,073 dead, VG’s overview shows.
