Therese Johaug is late to the World Cup final in Switzerland due to a sore wrist.
– This is going well, but I have to rest for a few days, says Therese Johaug in a press release.
The 32-year-old should have started at 3.30pm on a joint 10km outing on Saturday and a 30km outing on Sunday.
– It was something he got after the World Cup. She has known since we came here (Swiss Engadin) from Oberstdorf, Ole Morten Iversen, coach of the national team, tells VG.
He says the races in Engadin came a little earlier.
– It is not something serious, but it takes calm to get rid of it. Otherwise, there is a risk that there is something Therese has to struggle with for a long time. So it was easy to say that I shouldn’t go this weekend, says Iversen.

Johaug appeared to be in the form of his life during the WC at Oberstdorf, where there were four golds in four races. She was absolutely magnificent in the 10, 15 and 30 kilometers, and contributed a lot during the relay.
– Therese got upset here this morning when we agreed she shouldn’t go, but with the advice of the medical team, it was an easy choice, says Iversen.
The next competition for Johaug is the second part of NM skiing in Granåsen last weekend in March with 30 kilometers.

Sweden’s Frida Karlsson also faces the gutters in Switzerland due to problems with her arm. She struggled after a fall with Ebba Andersson and Heidi Weng in the three-mile World Cup.
– It doesn’t seem like it’s worth risking anything this weekend. I have rested my arm and walked with a cane the last few days. This time it was just a few days, Karlsson said.
